Fishing Boat and equipment:
You will be fishing out of a 2004 Triton Light
Tackle Special (LTS). It's 24' length and
8'6" beam make it comfortable to fish
in and offers a safe dry ride in even the
roughest water. It is equipped with a 225hp
Mercury Optimax, Lowrance electronics, and
a Motor Guide trolling motor. The boat has
a center console with plenty of "run
around room" you will need when that
big tarpon gets close to the boat.Check it
out on the resources page. Fishing tackle
includes All-star rods and Shimano reels.
The line used is Power
Pro braid with a Team Fish fluorocarbon leader
to get you that bite when the fishing is tough.
You can't catch a tarpon with mediocre equipment.
All equipment is well maintained and replaced
when there is any sign of wear. Personalized
instruction is provided on knot tying, rigging
techniques and fishing methods for all anglers.
